Turning Wheels for Autism – A Guidebook on autism and resources for country New South Wales

Hartley Lifecare helped publish this book as part of support provided to Justin Omrod in his 2008 Turning Wheels for Autism bicycle ride through rural New South Wales. Over 24 days Justin rode through country NSW to promote autism awareness and finished at Parliament House in Canberra where he met the Federal Government Minister for Health, Nicola Roxon, and then Parliamentary Secretary, Bill Shorten, to seek support for autism programs. Justin, who has Asperger’s syndrome, also participates in the Hartley Lifecare Ability Cycle Challenge and was a guest speaker at the event in 2008.
