Supporting Hartley by trekking Kokoda in May 2026
I am very excited to be taking on the Kokoda Trail in May 2026 to challenge myself and raise much needed funds for Hartley Lifecare. I love hiking and the outdoors and this feels like an incredible opportunity to take on one of the most physically demanding hiking trails in the world while raising funds to help create better opportunities, independence and quality of life for the people Hartley Lifecare supports. I’m also really looking forward to learning more about the history of Kokoda and the significance of the trail. I have the privilege of taking on this challenge alongside my dad, Eric.
Hartley Lifecare is a Canberra-based not-for-profit organisation providing supported independent living, short term accommodation and respite care to people with disability across the ACT. We also operate an all-abilities, accessible hydrotherapy pool that supports mobility, wellbeing and independence.
Your donation helps Hartley deliver the everyday supports that make a real difference. This includes safe and well-maintained homes, accessible transport, short breaks and meaningful experiences such as outings and holidays. Donations also contribute to major infrastructure projects, including the complete rebuild of Hartley Court, a specialist disability accommodation for 10 Canberrans.
Thanks so much for being part of this journey with me!

Love your work mate. Show Kokoda us Aussie’s have still got it! All the best on the trail. 🫡🇦🇺
